For more than a decade, I’ve led communications and marketing strategies for brands operating at the sweet spot of sport, music, fashion, art and outdoor performance. From public relations and messaging to 360 campaigns and events, the heart of my work is crafting impactful stories, building culture and community, and creating opportunities for brands to amplify their mission.
I currently provide communications and brand marketing consulting with a focus on PR, media relations, integrated messaging, athlete storytelling, partnerships and events, and specialize in the San Diego, Seattle and Portland markets. As a consultant (and human!) I lead with warmth, openness, and enthusiasm and love collaborating. I am passionate about learning and growing and am deeply inspired by values-driven organizations, reimagining what a company can be, create, and do.
Prior to consulting I spent several years building San Diego-based lifestyle brand Brixton, where I held senior leadership roles and was part of a tight-knit team that led the apparel/accessories startup through a thriving period of fast-paced growth and global expansion. Before Brixton, I worked on Public Relations for leading youth culture brand Vans during a super exciting chapter in the footwear company’s history. During this time Vans ushered in a new era of innovation, creativity, and community building with iconic cultural programs and events like Vans Custom Culture, House of Vans, and the Joel Tudor Duct Tape Invitational.
